What's been going on....

Wyatt continues to amaze us every single day! He is such a happy baby...he is always smiling and laughing and loves to "talk" to us. He loves it when we sing to him....and his favorite toy right now is Scout....who knows his name! He grows every single day.....he will be taller than mommy soon I'm sure! He has a great time with Granny Susan every day and we swear sometimes he'd rather keep her at home than have AJ and I there!
We can't wait for the warmer weather....I just can't wait to take him for walks in his stroller!
This month is crazy busy for AJ.....he is on at the MICU at University hospital and is on call overnight every 4th night :( But next month will be bad for me......I will be on ortho again :(
I'm still able to nurse Wyatt, but it's getting harder and harder to keep up with him....not only is he eating more but it's hard for me to pump consistently at work. We will take him back to the doc for his 4 month checkup and shots next month and there we will discuss introducing real foods! Once he starts getting real foods I might not need to nurse as much or at all....I'm excited in a way so that I'm not a slave to the pump but I know I will also miss nursing him (just as I really miss being pregnant with him)...crazy I know. But we love the little guy bunches!!
Check out these cute pics of the cutest baby ever :)

Dubois

This past weekend AJ and I were able to head over to Dubois to introduce Wyatt to most of AJ's family and friends from home....everyone absolutely adored him and wanted to keep him! We tried to convince them that they could all babysit 8pm-8am every night but no one seemed to keen on that! It was a very busy weekend and definitely threw Wyatt off his routine....believe me I paid for that Sunday night! But we had a great time showing him off.....here are the pics:

Finally a picture of the 3 of us since our family pics when Wyatt was 3 weeks old! too bad Wyatt didn't quite cooperate!

Update

Well I haven't upated since I started back to work.....I'm beginning my 3rd week back now, and it's still hard to leave him in the morning. All I can think about is getting back home to him....I completely understand women wanting to be a stay-at-home mom (or domestic engineer...or whatever they call it these days!) But AJ and I are so lucky to have my mom watching him at our house. My mom moved down here near us in January and she comes to our house every morning...even on the weekends when we both have to work. We are so blessed! I am still able to nurse him and I hope I can continue...he is so healthy and growing so fast...I'd hate to have to switch to formula at this point. But I'm hanging in there....luckily I like what I do...I couldn't imagine leaving him and going to a job I hate (I know many people do though).
As long as the weather holds out AJ and I will be taking Wyatt to AJ's farm...AJ can't wait to show him everything....the land, the tractors....as you can see below...AJ introduced him to the toy tractors that he had as a boy....
Wyatt can't wait to play with the tractors!
