Catching up

Well we're moving right along now.....we are 29 weeks along and the belly is growing so fast!

Here's what's going on with him now at 29 weeks:
Your baby now weighs about 2 1/2 pounds (like a butternut squash) and is a tad over 15 inches long from head to heel. His muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and his head is growing bigger to make room for his developing brain. To meet his increasing nutritional demands, you'll need plenty of protein, vitamins C, folic acid, and iron. And because his bones are soaking up lots of calcium, be sure to drink your milk (or find another good source of calcium, such as cheese, yogurt, or enriched orange juice). This trimester, about 250 milligrams of calcium are deposited in your baby's hardening skeleton each day.

This weekend we headed up to Bloomington for the IU-OSU game (well, if you could even call it that!! IU's performance was quite embarrassing!)
But we did get to see the new addition to the north end zone (which adds more seats to a stadium that we could barely ever get 50% attendance at before.....except for the OSU games of course....their fans always fill our stadium for those games and they didn't let us down this time!--sad I know!)

We enjoyed being back in B-town for the day....we got to meet up with Jake and Kelley and meet their new baby girl Olivia....she's so adorable!! and unfortunately I forgot to take my camera out of my purse and take a picture! (figures....thank you pregnancy brain!)
We also got to mee up with Rob and Jenny for the game and upgraded our seats with them so we didn't have to sit in the nosebleed section with the OSU fans! As you can see from the pix we were on the 50yd line
Well we're headed into another week....which AJ has off luckily! He had 2 grueling months at the VA and now has to study for his licensing exam that he has in a week. I will be scrambling to get the house ready for our guests this weekend....yikes!!
